Man in top hat happy surrounded by money

There are 989 billionaires in the United States. John Rockefeller was the first in 1916.

What people fail to grasp is that being a billionaire means that you have at least 1000 million dollars. Most billionaires have more than that.

It’s impossible to grasp how that amount of money translates to power and influence. Unless you’re a billionaire you have no idea what it’s like.

Buying Elections.

Forget about the 14 million dollars Ginther spent on the previous election to beat Joe Motil; that’s pocket change to a billionaire. We don’t elect billionaires; they elect themselves. Money can buy elections in the United States, but there’s something more important than just buying an election: influence.

People Listen to Billionaires.

We want to succeed in life and therefore automatically believe that every billionaire must be intelligent. Of course, not ever billionaire is smart, but they have the money to surround themselves with smart people. Those people may or may not have morals, but that depends on the billionaire doesn’t it?

That’s the Challenge.

Billionaires don’t have to have morals or empathy.

They can do anything they want and get away with it due to their financial power (and influence), and that’s what is destroying the United States (and Columbus). Therefore, I hope that I am the first person to officially announce:

Billionaires Must become Extinct.

Our government could do it if (they don’t because they love campaign donations). The other option is to build a new type of government that prohibits billionaires; easier said than done.

The easiest solution is to elect leaders whose goal is to eliminate all billionaires.

It could be done, but people don’t even talk about. It’s also the most logical option. Those previously 989 billionaires will still be incredibly rich and powerful, but hopefully not powerful enough to continue to control our government or our future.

The First 100 Million Dollars They Keep.

Maybe after anyone reaches 100 million dollars the rest must be donated to their choice of approved collective need? Something that everyone needs but is still underfunded.

  • The billionaire might choose adapting to climate change and provide renewable energy to everyone.
  • Or the billionaire chooses homelessness and builds homes for everyone.
  • Universal free public transportation would be my personal choice. Free bus and train systems connecting every corner of the country. All powered by renewable energy. A billionaire could put their name on every train?

I’m not a billionaire. I still go to garage sales on the weekends. Nonetheless, the time of the billionaire must end.

We must make billionaires extinct to save our republic and our future.

Billionaires Must become Extinct.
